Snow!

Luckily we were prepared.

We thought. We've now learned the catch-22 of being 7-months-old in the snow: if you're dressed properly to go outside you're not properly prepared to be outside.

Luckily Sylas was a good sport - love for a good snow day seems to be in his blood.

We're also doing our best to instill a love for adventure in the little man, this month with a trip to Mount Hood with our sweet friends the Abbys. It was a rousing success, even if we didn't leave the cabin much...

We've actually been hanging out quite a bit inside these days, with the rain (finally) hitting town and there still being so many things to explore, like Papa's boots

and the glass, soon-to-be-replaced-because-it's-making-me-a-nervous-wreck coffee table

and just generally horsing around...

And then we brunch with our other baby brethren - Quinn and Henry! - bringing the mayhem to the people, and wow do we make an impression. (I think this photo most certainly marks an occasion: the last time we'll go out to eat with the babies. For a long time.)
